Music and Me@IME is a unique Music Appreciation Interactive Workshop for children
The workshop aims to expose children to various facets of Indian music exhibited in the museum and help them comprehend the fundamentals of the genre. It encourages children to express their feelings and connect music to their daily experiences. The workshop also facilitates an exploration of the individual relationship each child has with music while educating them about rhythm and notes. Furthermore, it intends to spark curiosity in children about musical instruments and their functioning.
Facilitated by performer and teacher Kavya Srinivasan, this immersive program includes understanding how instruments are made and working on independent songs.
