Hyderabad: Muthoot Finance with the support and guidance of the Chatrinaka Police, distributed grocery kits and sanitizers to over 200 poor and needy families in the area. The kits were distributed by Sri P. Vidya Sagar Reddy, Circle Inspector, Chatrinaka old police station and Mr Vebin V Menon, Regional manager (Hyderabad), Muthoot Finance, at Chatrinaka old police station, Chandrayangutta constituency, today.
Sri P. Vidya Sagar Reddy said, it’s really commendable that Muthoot Finance came forward to help the needy in the Chtrinaka area, in this hour of distress, as their commitment to the society. More such institutions should come forward to help the poor, as there is no means for such families to earn a livelihood during the lockdown period.
Speaking on the occasion Mr Vebin V Menon, said, On behalf of Muthoot Finance, we supplied over 200 kits of groceries and sanitizers, sufficient for a week for a family, in the Chatrinaka area. Our intention is to ensure poor and needy are not left on an empty stomach, which compels them to flout the lockdown, by coming on to the roads, they could unnecessarily fall victim to this dreaded covid 19 disease. This can prevent the transmission of the disease in the community. We are thankful to the Chatrinaka Police and Circle Inspector Sri P. Vidya Sagar Reddy, for guiding and supporting us to reach out to those in a desperate state, without the Police help we wouldn’t have been in a position to identify the needy and provide them the succor successfully.
