Odisha’s participation at the event is aimed at showcasing its rich cultural heritage and diverse tourism offerings. The state is keen to present itself as an attractive destination for both international tourists and investors. With its unique blend of historical sites, natural beauty, and vibrant cultural festivals, Odisha has much to offer—from its famous temples and serene beaches to its rich art forms and wildlife sanctuaries.
The Odisha delegation is particularly focused on promoting the state’s potential in niche tourism sectors, including eco-tourism, adventure tourism, and wellness tourism. With its expansive coastline, the state offers opportunities for beach tourism, water sports, and ecotourism in areas like Chilika Lake. Additionally, Odisha’s ancient Ayurvedic practices and healing centers position it as an emerging destination for wellness travelers.
By participating in WTM, Odisha aims to build stronger connections with global tourism networks and attract international investments. The state’s government is dedicated to enhancing its tourism infrastructure, ensuring sustainable development while preserving the cultural legacy that makes Odisha unique.
The World Travel Market provides an excellent platform for Odisha to engage with international partners, increase awareness of its tourism potential, and explore opportunities to further boost the sector’s growth.
