OMRON and transcosmos Launch Joint Venture to Innovate Back Office Operations

Tokyo, Japan, February 10, 2025: OMRON Corporation (Headquarters: Kyoto, Japan; President and CEO: Junta Tsujinaga; OMRON) and transcosmos inc. hereby announce that the two companies have agreed to establish a joint venture, OMRON TRANSCOSMOS PROCESS INNOVATION Co., Ltd.* 1, with the purpose of streamlining back-office operations across OMRON Group. The new company is scheduled to be established on July 1, 2025, and will begin operations on the same day.

The new company will act as a shared services center, centrally managing indirect operations of HR, finance and accounting, and general administration functions at OMRON. Applying transcosmos’ operational expertise and know-how in automating and streamlining operations with the use of IT, the new company will enhance OMRON Group’s operational quality and optimize business processes even further.

With the establishment of the new company, OMRON aims to accelerate its business process transformation, build an optimum operational structure, and further streamline its back-office operations. At the same time, transcosmos will enhance its Digital BPO solution offerings by acquiring new insights into the industry and business operations.
