Park Medi World Limited Approves Panchkula Hospital and Mohali Super Specialty Expansion

ParkGroup of Hospitals Strengthens Position to be the Largest Private Healthcare Network in the Tricity Region with Launch of Panchkula Facility and Expansion in Mohali

Panchkula, Mar 11: Park Medi World Limited, the healthcare arm of the Park Group of Hospitals, has approved the launch of its advanced multi-super specialty hospital in Panchkula, expandable to 350 beds, along with the expansion of its existing 350-bed facility in Mohali by an additional 150 beds.

The Panchkula facility is scheduled to become operational from March 29, 2026, significantly expanding access to advanced healthcare services for patients across Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh.

With the addition of the Panchkula hospital and the planned expansion at its Mohali campus—Grecian Super Specialty Hospital—Park Hospital’s consolidated capacity across the Tricity region will reach 850 beds, positioning it as the largest private healthcare network in the region. The Tricity cluster will include 350 existing beds at Mohali, capacity of up to 350 beds at the newly launched Panchkula facility, and an additional 150-bed super specialty expansion at Mohali.

The Panchkula hospital has been designed to deliver comprehensive tertiary and quaternary care services, supported by advanced diagnostics, modern operation theatres, and critical care infrastructure. The facility will provide specialized treatment across multiple disciplines, addressing the growing demand for advanced medical care in the region.

The upcoming 150-bed super specialty expansion in Mohali will focus on strengthening high-acuity clinical capabilities, with major investments in Oncology, Neurosciences, Gastro Sciences, and Robotic Surgeries. The expansion will also introduce robotic joint replacement capabilities, enhancing the hospital’s ability to provide cutting-edge and minimally invasive treatment options.
