Feb 17: PVR INOX Limited, India’s largest cinema exhibition company, presents the Oscars Film Festival 2026, a curated celebration of Academy Award–nominated films, bringing some of the world’s most acclaimed cinema to audiences across India. Running from late February, leading up to the 98th Academy Awards on March 16, the festival will screen films at select PVR INOX locations across key cities, in association with leading international studios.
As part of the Oscars Film Festival 2026, PVR INOX will present a strong lineup of Best Picture nominees, including Hamnet, One Battle After Another, Sinners, Frankenstein, Marty Supreme, The Secret Agent, Bugonia, F1, and Train Dreams. These films represent a wide spectrum of genres and creative voices, reflecting the depth and diversity of storytelling recognised by the Academy this year.
The festival will screen 15 Oscar-nominated films across 58 cinemas in 23 cities namely Bengaluru, Goa, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Mysore, Pune, Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Indore, Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, Jaipur, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, and Rourkela.
Several of these titles also built early momentum at the Golden Globe Awards 2026. Films such as Hamnet and One Battle After Another emerged as major winners, while performances by Wagner Moura and Jessie Buckley received top acting honours. The strong overlap between Golden Globe recognition and Oscar nominations further underlines the awards-season strength of the films featured in the festival.
The festival will also spotlight standout performances across acting categories. Leading Actor nominees include Timothée Chalamet for Marty Supreme, Leonardo DiCaprio for One Battle After Another, Ethan Hawke for Blue Moon, Michael B. Jordan for Sinners, and Wagner Moura for The Secret Agent. Supporting Actor nominees such as Benicio Del Toro, Jacob Elordi, Delroy Lindo, Sean Penn, and Stellan Skarsgård further strengthen the festival’s programming.
