Salaam Namaste Marks World Health Day with Launch of ‘Sehat Sahi Laabh Kai’ Health Club

Noida,  Apr 09: On the occasion of World Health Day, the community radio station Salaam Namaste of IMS Noida launched the “Sehat Sahi Laabh Kai” Health Club. The initiative aims to promote health awareness and encourage a healthier lifestyle within the community. It ensures active participation of youth from rural, semi-urban, and urban areas. Through the Health Club, young individuals will be educated on key aspects such as health, hygiene, nutrition, yoga, sports, and overall lifestyle management.

The President of IMS Noida, Mr. Rajiv Kumar Gupta, stated that the initiative reflects the institute’s continued commitment to community development and social responsibility. He emphasized that equipping youth with the right knowledge and awareness about health is essential for building a healthy and progressive society. He further noted that such initiatives not only raise awareness but also motivate individuals to adopt sustainable and healthy lifestyles.

Station Head Ms. Barsha Chhabaria of Salaam Namaste shared that “Sehat Sahi Laabh Kai” is a comprehensive health awareness campaign being implemented in collaboration with SMART NGO. She described the initiative as a significant step toward strengthening commitment to community health improvement. As part of the campaign, the “Sehat Series – Sehat Sahi Laabh Kai” is being conducted to establish Health Clubs in villages through active youth engagement. The initiative has already been successfully implemented in villages such as Makhanpur, Kanawani, Nithari, and Chhijarsi.

She further highlighted that these rural health clubs aim to spread awareness about health-related issues, encourage the adoption of healthy habits, and bring about positive change through the energy and enthusiasm of youth. The initiative is expected to yield several key benefits, including improved health awareness and practices, reduction in diseases, increased community participation, and long-term impact driven by youth involvement.

Through the “Sehat Sahi Laabh Kai” Health Club, the objective is to enhance public health, strengthen community engagement, and establish sustainable positive change. It is hoped that this initiative will not only inspire youth to become responsible and aware citizens but also serve as a powerful catalyst for widespread social transformation.
