Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel invites guests to an extraordinary dining experience that celebrates the rich culinary heritage of the Kutchi Memon community. From 18th to 22nd June 2025, the hotel’s signature restaurant, Feast, will host a curated showcase by celebrated Home Chef and Founder of Cook Town, Aasiya Akthar, offering a rare opportunity to explore this deeply rooted, soulful cuisine.
Originating from the Kutch region of Gujarat and shaped by migrations to Sindh, Maharashtra, and Kerala, Kutchi Memon cuisine is a beautiful confluence of Gujarati roots and coastal influences. Known for its bold spices, comforting textures, and soulful preparation, this cuisine brings with it a story that goes beyond food—it’s an expression of heritage and home.
This five-day celebration will feature specially crafted lunch and dinner buffets. Guests can indulge in traditional dishes such as Memoni Style Tawa Prawns, Kheema Jo Mani, Akkini with Gud Jo Chutney, Daar Jo Saag, and the refreshing Lukmani Sherbet, among other delights. Let Chef Aasiya Akthar take you on a flavourful voyage through the kitchens of the Kutchi Memon community—one dish at a time.
