Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies is pleased to announce that registrations are now open for the School of Performing Arts and School of Design at the Mumbai campus and the School of Hospitality Management at the Navi-Mumbai campus for the 2025 Academic Year.

The School of Performing Arts offers a 3-year program in B.A. (Music-Western Contemporary Music and B.A. (Music-Indian Music). Western Contemporary Music introduces learners to music theory and harmony, music history and production, lyric writing, music composition and live playing sessions.

The Indian Music program focuses on holistic music education with leading musicians and talents in the industry. Learners are exposed to the traditionally renowned Gurukul system, where Taleem and Riyaz’s inputs seamlessly blend with technological advancements.

The highlight of both programs is the Naad Expression, a monthly concert for Indian and Western contemporary music students. The concert gives an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their musical understanding and talent to their peers and faculty members.

The School provides students with a strong base to network with key singers, musicians, and artists. After completing the 3-year program, students begin their careers as performing artists, music teachers, composers, or recording artists.
To be eligible for either of the programs, the candidate must have cleared the 10

+2 or equivalent examinations in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates must upload a three to five-minute, unlisted and unedited YouTube video of their performance. The shortlisted candidates must attend an online audition for final selection to the program. Registrations to the program are open from January to July 2025.

The School of Hospitality Management offers a 3-year B.B.A. Hospitality Operations and Management program at the Navi-Mumbai campus. The curriculum encompasses industry knowledge, customer service skills and technological expertise required for a career in the booming hospitality industry.

The School also offers the students an option of pursuing a dual degree (BBA + BBS – 5 years) program with an opportunity to earn a degree from the School Of Hospitality Management and Shannon College, University Of Galway, Ireland. Students opting for this program must complete their second year at NMIMS, achieve a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 and go through an interview conducted by Shannon College. A nine-month post-completion internship gives students a hands-on practical learning experience followed by 100% placement assistance.

To be eligible for the program, the candidate must have cleared the 10+2 or equivalent examinations in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates must also appear for an entrance test and a personal interview to be selected for the program.

Registrations to the program are open from December, 2024 to July, 2025.

The NMIMS School of Design offers a comprehensive 4-year undergraduate program, B.Des. in Humanising Technology, at the Mumbai campus. The School excels in providing skills and a practical approach, allowing students to ‘Humanise Technology’.

Students learn the art of visualizing, creating crafted solutions, and developing user-centered experiences. With knowledge of the subject matter, students also thrive in problem-solving and collaborating with teams in a multidisciplinary approach. The program starts with a two-year foundation where students build a strong base for further learning. It then progresses to designing seamless, cognitive, and behavior science-based product experiences with state-of-the-art technologies. As part of the curriculum, students learn new-age subjects like the Internet of Things (IoT) and Virtual Reality (VR) in the third year of the program.

To be eligible for the program, the candidate must have cleared the 10+2 or equivalent examinations in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates must appear for a studio test and a personal interview and submit their portfolios to be selected for the program. Registrations to the program are open from January to April 2025 only.
