Siddhi Johari Appointed as Central Assistant Director of the Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Promotion Council, India

4th February: Renowned social worker and Mrs. India International, Siddhi Johari, has been appointed as the Assistant Director of the Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Promotion Council, India.

Expressing her gratitude, Siddhi Johari thanked everyone for their constant support.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Promotion Council, India, is actively working across different states to support Prime Minister Modi’s campaign, “One Tree in Mother’s Name”. The initiative not only focuses on planting trees but also on their protection and conservation by installing tree guards. Additionally, small teams have been formed in various states to monitor and sustain the campaign effectively. Seeing the positive impact, several social and political figures have joined the council’s mission to ensure a greener future.

Adding to this movement, Siddhi Johari, a renowned youth icon and social worker from Jodhpur, Rajasthan, has taken up the role of Assistant Director and aims to expand the campaign’s reach. During a press meet held in New Delhi, she shared her commitment to fulfilling the responsibilities entrusted to her with utmost dedication. She also announced her plan to launch a nationwide campaign in collaboration with school and college students, aiming to create awareness about environmental conservation.

A clinical biochemist (Gold Medalist) by profession, Siddhi Johari has made a mark at the national level. Her contributions to society have been widely recognized, earning her several national and international awards and titles. She has held key positions in multiple organizations, consistently working towards human welfare and social betterment.

Additionally, she has been honored with the Tree Friend Award by United Nations Executive Director Erik Solheim and has been appointed as the Brand Ambassador for the Indo-Nepal Green Mission. Siddhi Johari also serves as the National Brand Ambassador for Women Empowerment and National Brand Ambassador for Health Education.

Following her appointment as Assistant Director, she received congratulatory messages and best wishes for her new role. The event was attended by the National Chairman of MOEFCCPC, Rahul Dwivedi, Vice Chairman Udayan Kulshreshtha, Director Subodh Dalal, along with other officials and members of the council. Siddhi Johari expressed her heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their support.
