State Bank of India Staff Union Hyderabad Circle, celebrates Union Day

Hyderabad, June 24th, 2024State Bank of India staff union Hyderabad Circle commemorated the 20th death anniversary of beloved general secretary of the Union, late Com Y Tharaknath, as the Union Day. On this occasion apart from paying floral tributes to late Com Y Tharaknath at LCPC Unit premises, a charitable event was organised by SBISUHC at Matru Foundation, Safilguda, an organisation serving the visually impaired and orphans, as part of the union’s social responsibility. Utility items like coolers, hot packs of various sizes, cookers, grocery items, textbooks of various subjects in Braille and other necessities were gifted to the foundation. 

The event organised by Com S Naga Bhasker, regional secretary, Secunderabad region and team was attended by SBISUHC president Com CH Sridhar, General Secretary; Com R Sriram, Deputy General Secretary, Secunderabad region; Com D Prasad, Assistant general secretaries, local secretaries and members of various units of the union. Com D Prasad introduced the general secretary and other members of the union to the members of the foundation. General secretary Com R Sriram interacted with the children. Children from the Foundation exhibited their talent. Com President CH Sridhar and other members addressed the children and encouraged them to do their best in their lives. The event concluded with Com R Sriram thanking the children and the management of the foundation for giving an opportunity to the SBISUHC to serve them.
