Kolkata, 8th November 2024: Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Institute of Technology and Sports Complex (SurTech), a JIS Group Educational Initiative and Idea-O-Meter successfully hosted the Academia & Industrial Summit 2024 at the SurTech Campus at Dumdum, Kolkata. Organised by the Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Automobile Engineering of SurTech, the summit brought together prominent leaders from academia and industry. Esteemed dignitaries including Dr. Monojit Dutta, Chief of Research Group, Product Development, TATA Steel; Prof. P.P. Chattopadhyay, Director of NIAMT, Former Dean, IIEST, Shibpur; Prof. Manojit Ghosh, IIEST-Shibpur, Visiting Prof. at the University of Michigan; Associate Prof. Dr. Snehanshu Pal, IIEST-Shibpur, Postdoctoral Fellow at Pennsylvania State University, USA; Mr. Samir Nandi, Director, Next Innovations Overseas Education Consultancy; Mr. Snobin George, Canterbury Christ Church University, Business Development Manager; Mr. Nitya Nagaich, GEDU, Global Education Head, South Asia; Ms. Shilpi Mishra, Head, Mercy University, North America; and Prof. (Dr.) Saradindu Panda, Principal, SurTech, JIS Group were present on the occasion.
