(SMIPL), the two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, today announced the launch of the V-STROM SX in a refreshed avatar, now available in four new colour options with updated graphics. The adventure tourer retains its proven design and performance, while offering a more vibrant and dynamic look for riders seeking both style and reliability.
The new colour options include Pearl Fresh Blue + Glass Sparkle Black, Champion Yellow No. 2 + Glass Sparkle Black, Pearl Glacier White + Metallic Mat Stellar Blue, and Glass Sparkle Black. Sport-inspired graphics hint at the V-STROM SX’s sporty side, while a textured pattern on the side panels enhances both the look and feel of the motorcycle.
Celebrating the Launch with V-STROM Expedition
Marking the occasion, SMIPL flagged off its first-ever V-STROM Expedition for customers, an exclusive adventure ride bringing together the V-STROM SX community for an unforgettable Himalayan journey. Riders will explore breathtaking landscapes while experiencing the true capabilities of the V-STROM SX.

V-STROM Expedition – Explore Your Limits
The 10-day ride, flagged off today from Delhi, will conclude back in the national capital on 5 October 2025. Over the course of the journey, V-STROM SX customers from across India will traverse iconic destinations in Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh.
The route is designed to challenge riders with high-altitude passes, winding mountain roads, and a mix of paved and unpaved terrains, putting the V-STROM SX’s engine reliability and endurance to the test under high-altitude conditions. Its solid handling and comfortable riding position ensure it remains a dependable companion through the rugged landscapes of the journey.
Beyond the ride, the customers will be engaged through a series of expert-led sessions on high-altitude riding techniques, obstacle handling, first-aid, and adventure photography focused on astro imaging. This will be complemented by evening get-togethers and cultural exchanges, reinforcing the spirit of camaraderie and shared passion that define the V-STROM SX community.
Suzuki V-STROM SX – The Everyday Explorer
Inspired by Suzuki’s DR-Z desert racer and DR-BIG, the V-STROM SX inherits the iconic “beak” design and the robust adventure DNA of the V-STROM family. The motorcycle is powered by a lightweight, OBD-2B compliant 249cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, 4-valve oil-cooled SOHC engine with Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) technology, delivering 26.5 PS @ 9,300 rpm and 22.2 Nm @ 7,300 rpm.
