As part of its ongoing ‘Protect Little Riders’ campaign under the #TVSRide4Safety initiative, the company distributed 100 children’s helmets to students of Delhi Public School (DPS), Shimla.

This initiative is aimed to instil the importance of safety and responsibility in young minds, inspiring them to become conscious and aware citizens of tomorrow. By educating school children on the value of protective gear and responsible road habits, TVS Motor continues to strengthen its belief that awareness must begin early to build safer roads for everyone.
Vimal Sumbly, Head of Business – Premium, TVS Motor Company, said, “At TVS Motor, we believe awareness is the first step towards safety. Through this initiative, we aim to nurture a generation that values protection, responsibility, and empathy on the road. Progress with purpose has always been our guiding philosophy, and engaging with communities meaningfully helps us translate that purpose into action.”
Arjit Singh Thakur (IPS), Superintendent of Police, Himachal Pradesh State Disaster Response Force said, “This is a commendable initiative by TVS Motor Company. As someone closely involved in disaster response and community safety, I truly believe that awareness and preparedness start early. Educating children on road safety and the importance of wearing helmets helps build a generation that is conscious, cautious, and responsible. Efforts like these go a long way in preventing avoidable mishaps and fostering a culture of safety within our communities.”
TVS Motor launched the ‘Protect Little Riders’ campaign in 2024 as a unique initiative to raise awareness on child safety on two-wheelers and to address barriers to adopting helmets for young pillion riders. The company has since continued to expand the initiative through various community and educational outreach programs that empower families to make road safety a daily habit.
In 2023, TVS Motor Company also partnered with KidZania to create a first-of-its-kind Road Safety Experience Zone, offering children an engaging and controlled environment to learn the basics of safe motorcycling. This collaboration encourages discipline, responsibility, and respect for road safety from a young age.
The helmet distribution drive in Shimla is another step forward in TVS Motor Company’s journey of community engagement, reinforcing its belief that true progress lies in creating safer, more responsible, and compassionate communities.
