Verily Storyworks Appoints InnoVision Marketing Group CEO Ric Militi to Advisory Board

DALLAS, TX — Mar 4 — Texas-based storytelling company Verily Storyworks announced that marketing industry leader Ric Militi will be joining as the newest member of the studio’s advisory board. Militi, who currently serves as the CEO and Executive Creative Director of the globally recognized agency, InnoVision Marketing Group (IMG), becomes the fifth member of the board, bringing more than three decades of award-winning brand and campaign leadership to Verily’s growth strategy.

Verily Storyworks, dedicated to transforming true stories into valuable properties across film, television and digital platforms, pairs cinematic storytelling with a structured capital ambassador program that allows aligned investors to participate in the disciplined development of premium true-story IP. Militi’s strategic marketing insight will support the company’s continued expansion as it brings powerful narratives rooted in true events to audiences worldwide.

Militi brings with him a rich history of success in creating and executing notable brands, organizations and campaigns. His portfolio includes collaborations with legendary figures and top-tier brands including Merv Griffin, Corona Beer, Palomar Health, Domino’s Pizza, Huey Magoo’s, Neutrogena, Kahlúa, Valley View Casino & Hotel, The Rio Las Vegas, Nissan, DreamWorks/SKG, Universal CityWalk and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.

“Ric brings a rare combination of entertainment pedigree, brand architecture expertise and operational marketing discipline,” said Barry Capece, CEO and founder of Verily Storyworks. “His previous work alongside entertainment luminaries and brands, coupled with his deep experience scaling complex consumer brands, makes him uniquely adept at guiding our next phase of growth. Ric understands how to position ambitious ideas at the intersection of culture and commerce, and that perspective will be invaluable as we continue expanding our slate and strengthening our market presence.”

Militi joins an accomplished advisory board that includes seasoned executive Robert E. Roth; president & CEO of Prosperity Bank Kevin Hanigan; entrepreneur and star of The Bachelor Sean Lowe; and award-winning filmmaker Steven R. Heape. Collectively, with the addition of Militi, the board will bring decades of expertise across finance, media, business development, cultural preservation, and now, with Militi, marketing.

“I’m intentional about the boards I choose to serve on, and Verily Storyworks immediately felt aligned with both my roots in the entertainment industry and my belief in the power of meaningful storytelling,” said Militi. “The company’s model of transforming true stories into cinematic, multi-platform IP is not only innovative, it’s timely. I’m looking forward to contributing alongside such a distinguished and accomplished board as we help bring powerful, real-life narratives to audiences in a way that resonates and endures.”

This appointment aligns with the completion of Verily’s campaign for their flagship project, THORPE, a multi-season, original series entertainment drama that will chronicle the legendary life of Native American athlete Jim Thorpe. The project marked the studio’s debut of its capital ambassador program, becoming fully funded during its 90-day investment campaign. This validated investor demand for disciplined, purpose-driven IP development and reinforced the strength of Verily’s capital model.

With Militi joining the advisory board, Verily Storyworks and IMG will continue to unite on strategic marketing to turn powerful, real-life stories into compelling IP projects.
