The soon-to-launch Night Shift will transform the space into a full-fledged vinyl bar, but until then, SH/FT serves as a daytime refuge for coffee lovers, freelancers, and anyone looking to press pause.
SH/FT is envisioned as a true community space, one that aims to foster meaningful connections beyond coffee. Plans are underway to introduce book reading clubs, open mic nights, trivia evenings, and intimate pop-ups for local home brewers in the near future. With vinyl at its core and creativity at its edges, SH/FT is a platform for cultural exchange as much as it is a café.
The interiors are designed to be both airy and immersive. Flowing white curtains soften the sunlight, natural textures create a sense of warmth, and a central record player spins a soundtrack of nostalgia throughout the day. The culinary offering reflects the same ethos, intentional yet unfussy. The menu brings together bold, recognisable flavours with a distinctive twist. Standout dishes include the Gochujang Burrata Rigatoni, a creamy pasta elevated with Korean spice; the Tahini-Lime Buddha Bowl, a vibrant combination of fresh textures and tangy notes; and the Vietnamese Bánh Mì, layered with punchy, pickled flavours and satisfying crunch.
SH/FT proudly holds the distinction of being the first space in Gurgaon to be caffeinated by Subko, India’s pioneering craft coffee movement. Known for its micro-lot origins, artisanal roasting, and deep commitment to storytelling and sustainability, Subko elevates every cup at SH/FT. From flat whites and pour-overs to slow brews that take their sweet time, each sip reflects an uncompromising passion for quality. Signature drinks like the Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Cranberry Espresso Fizz, and Orange Cinnamon Cold Brew are matched in creativity by the Mixed Berry Matcha, a caffeine-free alternative that’s just as complex.
