Yashoda Super Speciality Hospital Kaushambi, in collaboration with Medtronic, hosted a two-day Manometry Clinical Immersion Program on 21 and 22 December 2024. The program, which served as a specialized training workshop, was designed for gastroenterologists and gastro technicians from across Delhi-NCR, focusing on advanced techniques in endoscopic manometry.
During the conference, Yashoda provided in-depth training to 15 gastroenterologists and 17 endoscopy technicians, equipping them with the skills to diagnose and manage oesophagal and anorectal motility disorders. The workshop featured live demonstrations, hands-on practice sessions, and interactive discussions, creating a comprehensive learning experience.
Led by the expert gastroenterologist including Dr. Kunal Das, Dr. Sandip Shah, Dr. Harit Kothari, and Mr. Rajeev Yadav and Medtronic’s team, the program delved into the use of HRM (High-Resolution GI Manometry) for clinical applications, with practical insights on interpreting results based on the Chicago and London Classifications. Interactive discussions highlighted best practices, complication management, and the role of biofeedback therapy in addressing motility disorders.

The conference featured a comprehensive agenda, starting with an introduction to the advanced Manoscan technology and its software. This was followed by in-depth sessions on the procedural protocols for oesophagal and anorectal manometry, as well as training in high-resolution GI manometry (HRM). Participants were guided through live case demonstrations, catheter care management, and hands-on practice, focusing on sphincter markings, study analysis, and report generation.
