ZIPS Car Wash Unveils Upgrades in North Carolina

GREENSBORO, N.C., October 10, 2025 — Upgraded shine is the theme for ZIPS Car Wash this year with two newly remodeled locations in Greensboro and one in Winston Salem being unveiled next week. Celebrations kick off with a free car wash on October 14th at both ZIPS Car Wash locations in Greensboro: 2109 Pyramids Village Blvd. and 2300 Battleground Avenue. The Greensboro Chamber of Commerce joins ZIPS to host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 11:30am with free Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee from 10:30am – 12:30pm at the Pyramids Village location on Tuesday. On Wednesday, car washes are free at 6317 Stadium Drive in Clemmons with a Ribbon Cutting at 2pm with the Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce and free Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee from 1pm to 3pm.

Pete Nani, CEO of ZIPS Car Wash, shared that their maintenance and vendor teams have worked extensively to upgrade equipment and improve property appearances. Operations and training teams have prepared staff to deliver the best car wash experiences at these remodeled locations. Nani also notes that since July, 26 ZIPS locations in five states have been upgraded. “These investments are benefiting both teams and customers and the Greensboro and Winston Salem communities are invited to try the upgraded services next week, on us,” he added.

ZIPS Car Wash implemented similar upgrades at over 30 locations in 2024 and will unveil a total of 35 renovated locations this year. At each Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, ZIPS recognizes a local military family with a $500 academic scholarship through its national partnership with Folds of Honor.

Just last month, with the help of customers across the country, ZIPS exceeded its 2025 donation goal by raising over $150,000 for Folds of Honor, which will be donated to them at a flag raising ceremony in Frisco, Texas, on November 5, 2025. To further support local military, ZIPS offers their best car wash free for veterans every year on Veterans Day, November 11th. Veterans can visit over 215 locations across 20 states this year to receive their free wash.

As Zips has enhanced services across the country this year, it’s also invested back in the communities it serves through joining 17 Chamber of Commerce chapters across the country. Nani stated that working with chamber organizations dedicated to city improvements provides an opportunity to demonstrate the company’s commitment to local communities and to share with local businesses the value and convenience of its services.
