Amity University Haryana Ignites Future Leaders at Brainstorming Session on “Preparing Young Inspired Minds for Viksit Bharat-2047”

25th September, 2024: The Centre of Excellence for Innovation in Education, Amity University Haryana organized a brainstorming session on September 23, 2024, from 3:00 to 4:30 PM at the D Block Conference Room for UG and PG students. The theme was “Preparing Young Inspired Minds for Viksit Bharat-2047.” The session aimed to inspire and equip students with the knowledge and ideas needed to help build a stronger and more prosperous India. Students from different institutes at Amity University participated in collaborative discussions, sharing fresh ideas and solutions. This approach encouraged creativity and empowered students to contribute to shaping the country’s future.

The keynote address by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Amity University Haryana, Prof. (Dr) PB Sharma emphasized the importance of India’s freedom and the responsibility of its citizens. Prof. Sharma highlighted the contributions of patriots like Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, and Jawaharlal Nehru, showcasing their ability to drive positive change and overcome challenges. Prof. Sharma stressed the concepts of “Growth with Global Goodness” and “Growth with Goodness,” explaining their significance. Prof. Sharma also underscored the vital role of youth in building the nation’s infrastructure and driving its growth and development. He emphasized that nurturing creativity, skills, and energy in young minds will lead India to success. Drawing from the Mahabharata, he spoke on the importance of peace and renouncing violence, while also highlighting the idea of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one family) and India’s unity in diversity. The real-life examples and references in his speech were engaging and left a lasting impact on the participants and audience.

Anshuman Verma, co-founder of AIVU Ltd., served as a guest of honor and shared valuable insights with the audience. He emphasized the importance of fostering curiosity among today’s youth and highlighted the role of accessing open databases and government portals in enhancing students’ awareness and intellectual development. Verma also underscored the necessity of translating innovative strategies into practical applications for the nation’s growth and development.

Following the insightful address by the dignitaries, the insightful discussions among the students started, Amity Business School and Amity College of Commerce spoke on their respective sub-topic: Business & Management- Growing a strong economy. Their speech focused on the concepts of financial literacy, budgeting, sustainability and skills development. They had also emphasized on entrepreneurship, innovation and technological development. Their speech beautifully connected the dots between the main theme of the discussion and their respective sub-topic.

Amity Institute of Behavioral & Allied Sciences spoke on their respective subtopic: Psychology and Mental Well-being- Building Resilient Minds. They highlighted the importance of mental health, psychological well-being and emotional intelligence. They stressed the significance of stress management, building resilience, and eradicating of mental health stigma in building Viksit Bharat. Their speech reflected possible strategies for the improvement of mental health and how they could promote the growth and development of the nation.

The Amity School of Earth Studies & Applied Sciences spoke on their respective topic: Environmental Studies-Protecting Our planet. Their speech portrayed the relevance of natural resources and their conservation as important contributory factors towards the growth and development of India. Depletion of natural resources, conservation of natural resources, promotion of sustainable strategies and protective measures were the highlighted points. The contribution of eco-friendly practice in the development of Viksit Bharat was apparent through their speech.

Amity School of Engineering & Technology spoke on their respective subtopic: Engineering and Technology -Building India’s Future. The relevance of improvement in infrastructure, technology, role of Artificial Intelligence and sustainable solutions was evident through their speech. Their speech portryes strategies and improvements required in the field of science and technology to contribute in the growth and development of the nation.

Amity School Of Liberal Arts spoke on their respective topic: Social Sciences and Humanities- Bringing People Together. The contribution of culture and society in promoting unity and inclusivity among Indians was accentuated in their verbal address. Inclusion, holistic educational approach, inculcation of Vedic philosophies into the education system and unity in diversity were apparent themes in their speech.

Amity Medical School spoke on their respective subtopic: Health and Life Sciences-Keeping India Healthy. Their thoughts reflected valuable insights into the importance of health in the development of a nation. They stressed on the significance of adequate nutrition, quality health care, advancing medical innovations and promotion of healthy lifestyle measure. Through their words, they manifested a healthy and disease-free Viksit Bharat.

Amity Law School spoke on their respective topic: Law and Justice – Ensuring Fairness for All. Importance of judicial system and equity in delivering of justice to the citizens of India was accentuated through their verbal address. They also emphasized on fundamental rights, importance of judicial infrastructure, and strategies to combat the issue of delayed judgement. Their words very beautifully connected the dots between Law and Justice, and growth of nation.

Amity School Of Communication spoke on their respective subtopic: Mass Communication and Media Studies- Influencing Public Opinion. Importance of media in delivering information to the masses and their impact on the youth was highlighted through their verbal address. They stressed upon the responsibility of media to deliver correct information and prevention of spread of miscommunication.

Prof. (Dr) Priyanka, HOD Amity Institute of Behavioral & Allied Sciences congratulated the participants and the organization team on conducting a successful brainstorming session. She expressed her immense pleasure to be a part of the discussion.

Prof. (Dr) Laxita Sharma, HOD Amity Medical School applauded the participants for their collaborative multidisciplinary approach in portraying innovative strategies for the growth and development of the nation.

Her closing remarks reaffirmed Amity University Haryana’s commitment to empowering future leaders, leaving participants inspired to contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat-2047.

The brainstorming session was immensely successful in fostering new and innovative ideas and strategies to transform India into Viksit Bharat by the year 2047. The multidisciplinary approach led to the generation of influential and valuable strategies to fulfill the dream. The youth of today actively participate in the session and collaborated to put forth constructive and insightful concepts.
