Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Announces Commencement of AEEE 2026 Phase 2 Registrations

Combiatore, Mar 11: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has officially opened the registration portal for Phase 2 of the Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) 2026 for B Tech Admission. This national-level entrance exam is the gateway for aspiring students seeking admission into the University’s prestigious B.Tech programs across its eight campuses, including Coimbatore, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Amaravati, Faridabad, Nagercoil, and Haridwar.

AEEE Phase 1 exam was concluded recently for B Tech Admission 2026 along with JEE Main session 1.

Following the successful completion of Phase 1 in early Feb, 2026, Phase 2 offers a second opportunity for candidates to secure a seat or improve their previous scores. The university allocates 70% of its engineering seats based on AEEE ranks, while the remaining 30% are filled through JEE Main 2026 scores.

Eligibility Criteria

●Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed (or be appearing for) the 10+2 examination with a minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM), and at least 50% marks in each of these subjects individually.

●Age Limit: Applicants born on or after July 1, 2005, are eligible to apply.

Exam Pattern & Mode: The AEEE 2026 Phase 2 will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT). The 2.5-hour exam consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) covering:

  1. Mathematics (40 questions)
  2. ●Physics (25 questions)
  3. ●Chemistry (20 questions)
  4. ●Quantitative Aptitude (10 questions)
  5. ●English (5 questions)

AEEE Application Process: Interested candidates can apply through the Amrita Online Application Portal (AOAP) ataeee.amrita.edu.

  1. New Registration: Register with a valid email ID and mobile number.
  2. Form Filling: Complete personal and academic profiles.
  3. Exam Selection: Choose B Tech admission via AEEE, JEE Main, or both.
  4. Fee Payment: The application fee is ₹1,300. Candidates who appeared in Phase 1 and wish to retake the exam in Phase 2 can do so by paying an additional fee of ₹600.
