Gurugram, August 18th 2025: KIIT World School, Sohna Road, celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The event began with the hoisting of the national flag. On this occasion, BSF Naik ASI Sukhbir Singh and Sapna Yadav, Haryana Civil Services (2023 batch) and City Magistrate of Gurugram, graced the celebration as chief guests.
Students presented a vibrant cultural program showcasing India’s rich heritage. A special highlight was a short play paying tribute to the sacrifices of freedom fighters, which deeply moved the audience. The performances reflected the spirit of unity and love for the nation. The chief guests praised the students’ efforts and encouraged them to actively contribute to the country’s growth and progress.
Principal Neelima Kamrah also addressed the gathering and motivated the students to work for the nation’s development. She saluted the soldiers guarding the nation’s borders, reminding everyone that their sacrifices keep citizens safe. “Today’s students are the future of our country. They must contribute to the nation’s growth through their good conduct, discipline, and actions,” she said.
The celebration concluded with a strong message of patriotism, inspiring students to uphold the values of freedom and responsibility.
