KIIT World School holds Session on World Arthritis Day

KIIT World School, Sohna road, conducted an informative session on World Arthritis Day. Dr. Naval Mehndiratta, who completed his fellowship in Rheumatology and Immunology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital was the keynote speaker of the event. The major objective behind the seminar was to raise awareness of arthritis and its implications.

During the session, Dr. Naval Mehndiratta described rheumatic and musculoskeletal illnesses, including their prevalence and effects. Furthermore, he interacted with the older people presented at the event. He described the treatment and prevention methods of arthritis. Additionally, he highlighted the benefits of physical exercises, a healthy diet and a balanced weight for arthritis sufferers.

Principal of KIIT World School, Neelima Kamrah, said, “Rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases like arthritis are becoming more widespread and having an effect on people all over the world. In light of these historical circumstances, we saw the need to educate people about the value of understanding. Through this session, we hope to inform, make them aware of, and help them live the pain-free lives they deserve.”
