The panel featured Ms Roshni Nadar Malhotra, Chairperson, HCLTech, Trustee, Shiv Nadar Foundation, and Mr Karan Singh, Chairman of Bain & Company’s India offices. The discussion was centred on ‘India’s vision for 2047, examining strategies to build robust ecosystems of excellence powered by talent, technology, and global competitiveness.

“As India moves towards 2047, the need for resilient, innovation-led ecosystems has never been greater. Institutions that proactively embed industry insights into their academic framework will be best positioned to drive long-term national growth. I think the innovation focus has to be on our adaptability to keep moving forward as things change so rapidly. With the massive talent pool we have, along with the innovation focus and the culture of adaptability, there can be a huge, huge opportunity for all of us”, said Karan Singh, Chaiman of Bain & Company’s India offices.

In a significant step to capture the insights emerging from this engagement and translate them into a structured roadmap for action, the University released its white paper titled ‘Powering Possibilities Through Ecosystems of Excellence’, developed in collaboration with industry leaders and academic experts. The event concluded with the Partner Recognition Ceremony that honoured industry partners, such as TCS, GAIL, Cadence, and Sony India, to acknowledge their outstanding contribution over the years in developing industry-academia synergies.

Expressing gratitude to the attendees for their participation, Professor Ananya Mukherjee, Vice-Chancellor of Shiv Nadar University, Delhi-NCR said,

We sincerely value the insightful perspectives shared by our industry partners and academia here today. The overarching theme that emerged from today’s discussions was co-creation: between AI and us, the human beings; between academia and industry; and between different types of knowledge and wisdom. A University cannot go away from offering our students fundamental and rigorous learning, but that has to be enhanced by experiential learning, risk-taking, responsibility, and a strong anchor of moral conduct as we continue this journey of co-creation for a proper future of work for our students.”

The University also announced the launch of Elevate (Experiential Learning for Vision, Action, Transformation, and Entrepreneurship), a two-day leadership and capability enhancement programme offered by Shiv Nadar University, Delhi-NCR, for senior professionals, scheduled for 24–25 July 2026. This move reflects the University’s continued commitment to strengthening industry engagement and enabling transformative leadership development.
