Bangalore/Odisha, India October 03rd, 2025: Strengthening India’s capacity to defend against rising cyber threats, Sri Sri University (SSU) has announced the launch of a first-of-its-kind MTech in Cybersecurity and Incident Management, co-designed with SecurEyes, one of India’s most respected cybersecurity consulting firms. The program, aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, offers a powerful blend of academic depth and real-world industry training, making it one of the most future-forward offerings in the field.
Cybersecurity has emerged as a strategic necessity across sectors in India and worldwide. With India projected to require over 1 million cybersecurity professionals by 2030 (NASSCOM), this MTech program addresses the growing skills gap by training students to take on complex cyber challenges from day one.

India’s First Industry-Curated MTech in Cybersecurity
This unique MTech program is the first in India to be fully developed in partnership with cybersecurity experts. It offers flexible exit options: a PG Diploma after 1 year or a full MTech degree after 2 years, aligned with NEP 2020. Tailored for both fresh graduates and working professionals, the curriculum integrates project-based credits, one-on-one mentorship, and live industry projects starting from Semester 2.
Program Details
- Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognised university
- Duration: 2 Years Full-Time (4 Semesters) (Starting in October)
- Exit Option: PG Diploma after 1 year
- Tuition Fees: Rs 70,000 per semester
- (Admission, hostel, transport, and other fees extra)
- Location: Hybrid Options , with online learning and campus immersion at Sri *Sri University Campus (Bhubaneswar, Odisha) once each semester
