Basant Goel, the owner of Goel Medicos celebrated Global Handwashing Day in a unique way

New Delhi: On the occasion of Global Handwashing Day, Basant Goel, the owner of Goel Medicos organized a physical campaign on 15th October in order to create awareness around the adoption of hygienic habits amidst the prevailing condition of novel coronavirus.

The campaign was organized physically where free hand wash and sanitizers were distributed in the area. The initiative got the support of the local masses that joined the campaign with much enthusiasm. They took out an awareness rally where people with placards encouraged the practice of handwashing in the area of Shahadra. The main idea was to inculcate the hygienic habit not just during the pandemic but also make it a part of the lifestyle.

It inspired people to continue the hygienic habit of cleansing and sanitizing their hands to kill the notorious virus causing the deadly disease. In addition to inspiring people to regularly wash their hands, the team also took the opportunity to educate the public about the importance of maintaining social distance.

Where people might be taking a sigh of relief and keeping their guards down with the declining cases of COVID-19, it becomes more important to continue following the safety protocols that don’t ignite the off-going wave of coronavirus.

On the occasion, Basant Goel, the owner of Goel Medicos said, “Considering that with the decline in COVID-19 cases, people have shown considerable relaxation in exercising precautionary habits. So on the occasion of Global Handwashing Day, my team came up with the idea to conduct a campaign for handwash and sanitizer distribution where we also took the opportunity to educate the public about the other practices necessary to avoid the coronavirus.”
