Mar 10: Superhealth announced the launch of Supersurgery, a new surgical care programme designed to fix what patients fear most about hospitals unnecessary procedures, unpredictable bills, and exhausting discharge delays.

Across much of India’s private healthcare system, surgical decision-making is often influenced by incentive structures where commissions and sales targets drive procedures, implants, diagnostics, and referrals. Supersurgery removes those incentives entirely. Doctors at Superhealth are on fixed salaries with zero commissions and have zero sales targets or incentives, ensuring clinical decisions are based only on what is best medically for the customer. The impact of that design is already visible. Since opening its first hospital in Koramangala in September 2025, nearly 50% of patients who arrived at Superhealth with a prior surgical recommendation were advised non-surgical treatment after independent clinical review indicating that the hospital recommends up to 50% fewer surgeries than typical industry practice.
“Supersurgery is the most honest and hassle-free surgery experience ever designed. It fixes overprescription, overbilling and extreme wait times during discharge. We do this through our senior and experienced clinical teams who are on full time salary with no commissions or targets, so they focus only on the best clinical care for customers. Our fixed price guarantee ensures zero bill inflation and Magic Discharge we provide instant and hassle-free discharge to patients even if your stay gets extended for clinical reasons – Varun Dubey, Founder & CEO, Superhealth”
Supersurgery currently covers procedures across general surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology, ENT, urology, ophthalmology, vascular surgery, neurology & spine surgery and pediatric surgery among others. A single all-inclusive price is disclosed to the patient or decision maker before admission, which covers everything from consultations, diagnostics, the procedure, monitoring to inpatient stay. In the case a doctor determines a longer stay is clinically warranted, the hospital absorbs the cost. Additionally, the procedures average 40–50% lower than market estimates for comparable surgeries at corporate hospitals in Bengaluru.
Supersurgery is delivered at Superhealth’s state-of-the-art surgical facility in Koramangala, Bengaluru, which has been designed with a strong focus on safety and infection control.
Key features include:
- Unidirectional Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) flow
- Sterile airflow operating theatres constructed with surgical-grade steel
- Private rooms only, eliminating cross-patient infection risk
- Highly experienced surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses, and technicians
- Advanced surgical equipment and monitoring systems
One of the most frustrating experiences for patients in India is discharge day. Even after a doctor clears them to go home, patients typically wait five to six hours while billing, insurance approvals, and paperwork are completed. Superhealth redesigned this entirely.
Through its Magic Discharge™ protocol, billing reconciliation, discharge documentation, and insurance pre-authorisation begin at the time of admission, not after clinical clearance. By the time a patient is medically ready to leave, the paperwork is already finished. The hospital has processed discharges with an average length of stay of 1.2 days, significantly lower than the national private hospital average of 3–5 days for comparable elective procedures.
Supersurgery is operated on SuperOS, Superhealth’s in-house AI platform that coordinates clinical care, diagnostics, pharmacy, billing, and discharge. The system creates a single real-time chain of accountability inside the hospital — linking surgical decisions to clinical protocols, diagnostics to treatment pathways, and final billing directly to the price disclosed before treatment.
This architecture eliminates the billing variability and operational fragmentation common in traditional hospital systems.
Superhealth is building a new kind of healthcare system in India, one designed around transparency, trust, and operational precision. Backed by MS Dhoni’s family office, the company plans to expand the Supersurgery model across multiple neighbourhood hospitals in Bengaluru and beyond.
