Following a report by a speaker from India, Abraham Ajith, Putin confirmed cooperation with Indian partners and expressed confidence that the upcoming summit would be held at a high level.

“First of all, I would like to note that we are cooperating with our Indian friends and will continue to do so,” the head of state said during the AI Journey conference. “I know that an artificial intelligence summit is planned in India in February of next year. We will be happy to take part in it. I am sure that the event proposed by our Indian friends will be held at the highest level,” the Russian president added.

Abraham Ajith, Vice-Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at Sai University (India), during his speech at the conference, spoke about the results of a large-scale foresight study analyzing key future technologies. The study was conducted under the auspices of the International AI Alliance, established at AI Journey 2024. More than 270 AI researchers from 36 countries contributed to this project. The speaker explained that while it previously took months or years to understand an industry, with AI it can be done in a matter of days or weeks. Generative AI accelerates scientific research and discoveries multiple times, opening up tremendous opportunities for the development of science, as it provides scientists with tools previously unavailable to them.

The AI Journey conference is taking place at Sber’s headquarters in Moscow from November 19-21. The first day of the conference is dedicated to the application of generative AI in everyday life and for the country’s development. The second day focuses on the use of technologies in various economic sectors, and also includes the BRICS+ AI Forum and the award ceremony for the AI Leaders prize. The final day, November 21, is dedicated to the role of artificial intelligence in science.
