Bhubaneswar: In celebration of Niladri Bije, DURDARSHINI DIGITAL is proud to announce the grand premiere of its latest musical production, “Radha Rani”, a visual and lyrical tribute to the eternal love of Radha and Lord Krishna. The musical video launched with a special cultural evening at Ganganagar, Unit 6, Near Pragati Sportive Radha Krishna Temple, on Tuesday.
“Radha Rani” is not just a song—it is a heartfelt journey through the rich classical heritage of Odisha. The composition skillfully weaves traditional Odia poetic forms like Chhanda, Janana, and Champu, echoing the elegance and depth of Odia literature and spirituality.
The creative force behind the project, Shreejata Upadhyay, has both penned and sung the song. Accompanied by a talented team—music arranger and sound designer Roumyaj Pradhan, rhythm by Samir Ranjan, and visuals crafted by Wapi Films (Siju D) under the direction of Saswat Joshi—the music video features performances by Shreyanvi Joshi as Radha and Tanuj Panda as Krishna.
Produced by Prangya Durdarshini Nayak, the founder of DURDARSHINI DIGITAL, the project is part of an ongoing effort to promote and preserve Odisha’s cultural identity through modern digital expressions. “Radha Rani” is the platform’s latest endeavor to bring classical Odia compositions to contemporary audiences.
