New Delhi, September 08, 2025: The 5th edition of India Expo Shop 2025, hosted by the Indian Exhibitions, Conferences & Events Services Association (IESA), concluded successfully at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka on August 12–13. Reinforcing India’s position as “The Hub for Global Events & MICE Innovation”, the two-day showcase brought together 150 exhibitors, 1,500 trade visitors, 300 decision-makers, 28 startup pitches, 22 mentors, and over 2,000 professionals from across India and overseas. The event generated 1,500 business connections and 42M digital impressions, underlining its role as a catalyst for innovation, collaboration, and growth in the exhibitions and events ecosystem.
India’s MICE Momentum
Mr. Jatinder Kapur, President, IESA, said, “India Expo Shop 2025 has emerged as a catalyst for transformation, shaping the roadmap of the event services ecosystem. The India MICE market generated revenues of over Rs. 4,16,000 crores in 2024 and is projected to nearly double to Rs. 8,73,000 crores by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 13%. This momentum is being driven by rapid infrastructure developments and India’s growing reputation as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.”
He added, “Over the last decade, India has added more than 1,50,000 km of roads, modernised railway stations, introduced semi-high-speed trains, expanded to over 150 operational airports, and built a network of 2.48 million hotel rooms. New MICE-ready destinations such as Varanasi, Khajuraho, and Kochi are further broadening opportunities. The successful hosting of the G20 has amplified India’s global credentials, while initiatives like EventFull Bharat ensure that Brand Bharat stands at the forefront of global competitiveness in the events and MICE arena.”
With a vision to position India as a global hub for exhibitions, events, and MICE, the event aimed to drive collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth across the ecosystem.
EventFull Bharat: Innovation in Action
At the heart of this year’s edition was the launch of “EventFull Bharat”, India’s first dedicated platform for MICE startups and next-gen solutions. The initiative spotlighted 22 mentors, 28 startup pitchers, 7 curated sessions, and participation from emerging hubs including Kochi, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Mumbai, Jhansi, Ghaziabad, and Kashmir, underscoring the depth and diversity of India’s events ecosystem.
EventFull Bharat debuted as a game-changer, creating a launchpad for startups and innovators redefining event experiences. From AI-driven travel and smart mobility to sustainable catering, circular materials, and experiential F&B concepts, the platform reflected India’s readiness to drive a new era of sustainable, tech-enabled, and globally competitive MICE solutions.
Startup Spotlights & Mentorship
Startups such as Travel Growth AI, Nourish, Fuel & Mobility, and Content Automation showcased innovations in smart travel, nutrition-focused F&B, EV logistics, and AI-powered event marketing.
Highlights of the program included a series of Leadership Talks and Panels that explored crisis-proofing events, digital transformation, and sustainability. The agenda also featured Pitching Sessions where startups showcased immersive technologies, luxury experiences, and AI-powered event marketing tools. Adding further value were Mentorship Insights from industry leaders such as Phil Chung (Kinexin-IICC), N. Binu (IESA & Meroform India), Sooraj Dhawan (Rashi Entertainment), Dilip Chenoy (Bharat Web, ex-FICCI), and Dr. Samir Kapur (Adfactors PR), who shared their expertise and vision for the future of the events industry.
Infrastructure & Exhibitor Excellence
The exhibition floor featured exhibitors showcasing solutions across infrastructure, branding, AV tech, and logistics. Product categories included luxury tents, German hangars, experiential displays, LED walls, and sustainable event materials.
Attendees included trade visitors, corporate sourcing teams, event planners, and venue promoters, reflecting the sector’s diverse stakeholder base.
Parallel to the startup spotlight, seasoned exhibitors like N.K. Kapur & Co. Pvt. Ltd., Meroform India Pvt. Ltd., Vasisht Agencies Pvt. Ltd., Arch Concept Pvt. Ltd., Shivom Enterprises, and others displayed robust event infrastructure, design, AV solutions, logistics, and sustainable practices. These showcases received enthusiastic engagement from both domestic and international buyers.
Exhibitor excellence was celebrated through Best Stall Awards for design and innovation, while live behind-the-scenes showcases offered immersive insights into event production.
Strategic Partnerships & Impact
A notable highlight was the signing of an MoU between IESA and the Media & Entertainment Skill Council, aimed at building a future-ready, skilled workforce tailored for India’s evolving MICE sector.
The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony honouring all participants, including exhibitors, startups, partners, and sponsors. This marked not only a successful closure but also the beginning of a larger movement.
Looking forward, IESA announced plans for regional showcases, deeper startup integration, and enhanced global partnerships to sustain the momentum from this landmark edition and continue propelling Brand Bharat’s ascendancy as a global MICE powerhouse.
