Chennai, 26th September 2025: As part of the ongoing Swacchata Hi Seva Campaign 2025, Indian Bank has organised various cleanliness and sustainability activities through its offices and branches, Pan-India.
At Chennai, the Bank conducted a cleanliness drive today, in the premises of Chennai Higher Secondary School, Alwarpet, reaffirming its commitment to Swachhata. Indian Bank also extended support to improve school’s infrastructure under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. Contributing towards a greener environment, plantation drive undertaken in the school premises, followed by a signature campaign for “Say No to Single Use Plastic’.
During event, Shri Binod Kumar, MD and CEO of the Bank, felicitated the Safai Mitras, acknowledging their service and contributions in maintaining a clean and healthy neighbourhood.
These initiative aligns with Indian Bank’s broader mission towards community well-being besides providing a better learning environment for the young children. Shri Ashutosh Choudhury and Shri Shiv Bajrang Singh, Executive Directors along with other Senior officials of the Bank were present during the event.
