Maize & Malt, a modern Indian gastropub that reimagines regional flavors with global flair, teams up with Effingut, India’s pioneering craft brewery known for its experimental beers, bold flavors, and unforgettable brewpub experiences, for a one-of-a-kind collaboration — introducing The Ratnagiri Mango Ale-phonso, a juicy ale-style beer brewed with love by Effingut and crafted exclusively for Maize & Malt.
This limited-edition pour is packed with tropical notes, made using handpicked Alphonso mangoes from the legendary orchards of Ratnagiri — known for producing the most fragrant, flavourful mangoes in India.
What started as a hunt through the bustling fruit markets of Pune led our brewers straight to the heart of mango country. Working hand-in-hand with local farmers, they selected the ripest Alphonsos, bursting with golden nectar and nostalgia.
The result? A beer that’s bold, juicy, and refreshingly summer — a little sweet, a little tart, and endlessly sippable.
