23 July 2025: Genius HRTech Limited (formerly known as Genius Consultants Limited), a leading Workforce Staffing Services & HR Solutions provider in the global market, unveils its latest Digipoll Survey Report for June 2025. The findings offer a detailed look into how organizations across India are preparing for the possibility of a COVID resurgence, examining contingency planning, employee safety, and operational agility.
The survey gathered responses from 1,503 professionals across industries. When asked about their current level of preparedness, a reassuring 55% of organizations indicated that they are fully prepared with updated SOPs and remote work systems already in place. On the other hand, 30% admitted that they have not yet considered or acted upon any plans, while 12% said they are moderately prepared with partial policies in need of revision. A small 3% revealed minimal preparedness, highlighting outdated or untested measures.
Addressing attendance policies in case of a COVID wave, 39% of respondents said their organizations would implement mandatory work-from-home for all non-essential staff. 32% plan to adopt a hybrid work model, 5% intend to carry on with business as usual while maintaining precautions, and 24% remain undecided, awaiting government direction.
In terms of proactive health and safety support, 33% of organizations are prepared to offering vaccination drives, mental health support, and medical assistance. 28% are ensuring basic hygiene with sanitizers and masks, 14% have delegated responsibility for safety practices to individual employees, and 25% report no active measures yet, though discussions are ongoing.
When it comes to business continuity, a strong 69% of respondents stated that their companies have comprehensive remote work infrastructure and contingency plans in place. 18% have partial business continuity protocols, 6% depend on informal or department-specific backups, and 7% admit to having no formal plans as of now.
On the communication front, 36% of organizations said they’ve established dedicated internal communication channels and crisis response teams to ensure clear messaging during emergencies. Another 28% rely on emails and internal newsletters, 20% on occasional leadership communication, while 16% lack any structured communication approach.
Commenting on the findings, Mr. R P Yadav, Chairman and Managing Director of Genius HRTech Limited, said: “The survey reveals both caution and action. While many organizations are equipped with structured plans, the remaining gap highlights an urgent need for more proactive engagement. The pandemic may have receded from headlines, but its lessons are far from over. Every second day, there’s news of a modified strain, and a grey cloud of impending crisis looms over businesses in case there is another lockdown scenario. It’s critical that companies, irrespective of size or sector, continue building resilience not just through SOPs, but by prioritizing people, preparedness, and internal communication. Readiness isn’t just operational but cultural.”
The June 2025 Digipoll Survey captures a timely sentiment across corporate India, signalling how businesses are embracing foresight over complacency. As organizations look to the future, their approach blends structural readiness with a renewed focus on employee well-being and communication clarity.
