Noida, Mar 23: Huey Tech, a parent company to PayMe in collaboration with DPO Club, successfully hosted the Data Privacy Roadshow 2026 in Noida, bringing together senior professionals from the data privacy, cybersecurity, and fintech ecosystem for an in-depth exchange on evolving regulatory frameworks, particularly the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.

The event focused on the growing need for privacy-first frameworks in digital and financial ecosystems, highlighting key challenges around consent management, regulatory compliance, and the increasing importance of Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA).
The roadshow witnessed participation from leading industry experts, including Col Deepak Joshi and Dhruv Suri, along with Huey Tech leadership, Vineet Daniell (CTO & CISO), and Nitin Sharma (COO), who shared insights on building robust privacy programs and navigating compliance in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
A key highlight of the event was the roundtable discussion on “Consent in the Age of Open Banking and Account Aggregators,” where participants engaged in meaningful dialogue on best practices for capturing, managing, and retaining consent in an audit-ready manner. The discussion was particularly relevant for fintech platforms, digital lending companies, and RBI-regulated entities, where data governance and consent architecture play a critical role.
The event also featured a hands-on workshop on Data Privacy Impact Assessment (DPIA), emphasizing its role as a foundational element of any effective privacy framework. Attendees gained practical insights into how DPIAs can be used to identify risks, inform product design decisions, and ensure compliance when introducing or modifying digital systems.
The roadshow brought together a curated group of privacy and cybersecurity professionals, including Data Protection Officers, compliance leaders, and risk experts, with experience ranging from 5 to 25 years. The interactive format enabled peer-to-peer learning, knowledge exchange, and meaningful networking.
The event also saw participation from fintech leaders, including PayMe, a digital lending app within the ecosystem, highlighting the growing focus of lending platforms on strengthening data privacy frameworks, consent management, and regulatory compliance in line with evolving norms.
