Hyderabad, Feb 28: KLH Bachupally Campus successfully hosted the AI Student Summit 2026 on 27–28 February, featuring the national-level “Hack with AI” 24-Hour Hackathon as its flagship event.The summit was graced by Prof. V. Balakista Reddy, Chairman, Telangana Council of Higher Education, as the Chief Guest. Organized by the KLH ACM Student Chapter, the summit witnessed remarkable national participation, with over 750 teams and 3500 students representing institutions from across India.
Conceived as a structured academic and industry engagement platform, the summit seamlessly integrated expert keynote sessions, AI innovation showcases, and an intensive 24-hour hackathon. During the hackathon, participants developed application-driven AI solutions addressing contemporary societal and industrial challenges. Working in collaborative teams, students progressed through rapid problem identification, solution architecture design, and functional prototype development within a high-performance, time-bound environment.

The initiative was conducted in collaboration with leading industry partners including Hirelexa, DEET, TSARO Labs, Regen, Quadric IT, and Global Degree. Senior representatives actively mentored participants through technical consultations and strategic discussions. The distinguished industry mentors included Mr. Vamsi Reddy, Additional Director – Corporate Relations, DEET, Mr. Vamsi, Founder, Hirelexa, Ms. Prashanthi. Chief Technology Officer, HIrelexa, Mr. Priyatham, Director – Digital Innovation, Quadric IT, Ms. Manju, Vice President, Regen, Mr. Niranjan, Managing Partner, Regen, Mr. SaiRam, Senior SOLUTIONS Architect, TsaroLabs. Their engagement provided critical insights into solution scalability, deployment feasibility, and industry relevance.
The summit was supported by the Digital Employment Exchange of Telangana (DEET) as the Supporting Partner and Quadric IT – Simplify as the Title Sponsor, Global Degrees as an education partner along with other distinguished industry collaborators who contributed to the successful execution of the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Er. The summit concluded with expert keynote addresses and a forward-looking panel discussion on the future trajectory of Artificial Intelligence in India, emerging innovation trends, and workforce preparedness in an AI-driven economy.
The initiative was organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. L Koteswara rao, with Dr. Muniraju Naidu serving as Faculty Convener, along with dedicated organizing team members whose structured planning and coordinated execution ensured seamless academic and operational delivery.
ACM KLH Bachupally Student Chapter is a fully student-led chapter. The chapter actively conducts technical workshops, innovation programs, outreach activities, and leadership initiatives for students. Among more than 195 ACM student chapters across India, the KLH chapter has been recognized for mentoring new chapters, organizing impactful technical events, and promoting student innovation across Telangana.
