MongoDB Launches Strategic Partner Program to Accelerate AI Adoption across APAC

New Delhi, India, March 31, 2026- Today, MongoDB announced the launch of a new Asia Pacific Strategic Partner Program designed to accelerate the region’s transition from legacy infrastructure to modern, AI-driven applications.
The invite-only initiative is part of MongoDB’s broader strategy to identify and invest in a select group of partners with the deep architectural expertise, local knowledge, and quality relationships to deliver value for customers and accelerate the adoption of AI. Partners already onboarded include Sieger, SoftwareOne, and ICS Compute.

To accelerate this change, the company is making a number of investments in the region’s partner program, with plans to increase the size of its APAC partner team by 50% by the end of the fiscal year. Over the same time period, the goal is to quadruple the number of partners in APAC that MongoDB is strategically engaged with.

Accelerating AI adoption

To unlock the full potential of AI, organizations must effectively manage vast quantities of unstructured data—a challenge that MongoDB is uniquely positioned to solve due to its integrated AI-ready data platform. Unlike legacy relational systems, MongoDB combines the flexibility of the document model with integrated Vector Search and embedding models from Voyage AI by MongoDB. This allows customers and partners to build semantic search and gen AI agents directly on operational data, eliminating the complexity and cost of a fragmented tech stack.

“We have successfully built a first-class partner ecosystem across the region. However, the complexity of generative AI deployment and legacy modernization demand an evolved partner engagement model focused on deep, strategic alignment,” said Bidhan Roy, Vice President of Partners, APACMongoDB. “We are identifying partners who have outstanding local capabilities and investing heavily in their success to create an ecosystem of force multipliers across the Asia Pacific region. For our joint customers, this initiative aims to reduce delivery risk, reduce time-to-market, and provide access to trusted advisors who can pull together all the necessary elements—technology, skills, and strategy—to make AI a reality.”

Enabling partners

The Strategic Partner Program is designed to give key partners across APAC the resources they need to help customers succeed with MongoDB, including:
  • Skills, training, and certification: The program provides preferential access to specialized Architect and Application Delivery certifications. This helps ensure customers have access to a validated pool of talent capable of executing complex modernization projects on MongoDB.
  • Verticalization and localization: The program prioritizes partners who bring deep local expertise—whether that is navigating government sovereignty laws in Singapore or financial regulations in India.
  • Modernization pathways: For customers still trapped on legacy systems, these partners are equipped with the blueprints and tools to accelerate modernization, clearing the path for AI adoption.
  • Joint go-to-market (GTM) and marketing enablement: Co-marketing toolkits, ready-to-use assets, and best-practice playbooks to help partners accelerate growth and scale impact together with MongoDB.
MongoDB’s evolved ecosystem strategy is already delivering results for customers and partners in APAC.
Delivering for customers

In China, MongoDB is working with Sieger, a pioneer in IT modernization, to integrate MongoDB‘s data platform into its unified GTM model, helping Chinese enterprises expand globally. For example, Sieger relied on MongoDB Atlas to help one of the world’s largest smartphone manufacturers rapidly scale across the Americas and Europe.

“By combining Sieger’s deep local expertise with MongoDB’s cutting-edge data platform, we are already seeing the impact on some of the world’s most dynamic and fast-growing companies,” said Flora Kong, Chief Operating Officer at Sieger. “In the coming year, we are deepening our collaboration to provide customers with an AI-native, all-in-one data platform experience. This evolution will ensure our joint clients can bridge the gap from legacy infrastructure to future-ready innovation, driving mutual success on a global stage.”

In India, MongoDB is collaborating with SoftwareOne, combining their extensive expertise in cloud migration and managed services with MongoDB’s data platform to address the urgent need for legacy modernization.

“Legacy infrastructure is one of the single greatest barriers to AI adoption. Our collaboration with MongoDB is one of the many initiatives we at SoftwareOne are taking to remove that friction,” said Vikas Bhonsle, Federation leader at SoftwareOne India. “By combining our cloud migration and managed services expertise with MongoDB’s flexible data platform, we are helping enterprises modernize their core applications at pace, so that our joint customers can turn the promise of AI into a production reality.”

In Indonesia, MongoDB has partnered with ICS Compute, the country’s first AWS Premier Tier Services Partner. Together, they help large enterprises across BFSI, retail, and manufacturing move beyond fragmented legacy systems toward a scalable, AI-ready data architecture.

“Indonesian enterprises already have the data; what they need now is a solid foundation to turn that data into AI-enabled applications and real business value,” said Budhi Wibawa, CEO of ICS Compute. “By combining our end-to-end capabilities and local expertise with MongoDB’s modern data platform, we are giving customers a practical, low-risk path to modernization for the AI era.”
