New Delhi, Mar 24: realme, India’s most popular smartphone brand among youth, announced a strategic CSR partnership with Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) – C3iHub to launch the realme CyberSuraksha Initiative in Uttar Pradesh. Over a two-year period, the programme will provide cybersecurity awareness and skilling for 5,000 citizens, including students and government professionals, while enhancing C3iHub’s role as a Centre of Excellence for cyber awareness and capacity building.

The initiative aims to promote safer digital behavior, strengthen cyber readiness among public sector professionals, and empower young users to navigate the digital ecosystem securely. It aligns with realme India’s CSR priorities of digital literacy, responsible technology use, and youth empowerment, while supporting India’s broader vision of a safe and resilient Digital India.

The realme CyberSuraksha Initiative will deliver a structured 32-hour blended learning programme covering key topics including cybercrime prevention, online financial fraud, social media vulnerabilities, identity theft, ransomware threats, and online safety for women and children. Participants will undergo baseline and end-line assessments, and successful learners will receive co-branded, blockchain-enabled digital certificates.
Through this partnership, realme and C3iHub aim to empower citizens with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to navigate the digital world safely, reinforcing a more secure and responsible digital ecosystem for all.
