“The acquisition reflects our confidence in the strategic value and capabilities of T.i.S. Service S.p.A. and our intent to fully integrate their strengths into the Electrosteel ecosystem. TIS was selected after a thorough global evaluation. Its technical leadership in valve engineering, presence in critical global markets and reputation for quality made it an ideal fit. We are actively evaluating localization of selected TIS product lines in India to align with the Make in India initiative and serve regional markets more competitively”, said Mr Sunil Katial, Whole-Time Director & CEO, Electrosteel Castings Limited.

With this acquisition, Electrosteel now becomes one of the only global players capable of offering both Ductile Iron pipes & fittings and sophisticated valve technologies under one umbrella. This strengthens our positioning in turnkey water infrastructure and wastewater infrastructure solution provision globally”, said Mr Madhav Kejriwal, Whole-Time Director, Electrosteel Castings Limited & President, T.i.S. Service S.p.A.
Mr. Eugenio Rota, CEO, T.i.S Service S.p.A. said, “TIS SERVICE needed a solid partner who could make us grow but while respecting our peculiarities, making the most of know-how and people: from the beginning of the process, it has been a priority for us to ensure employment. Of all the expressions of interest received, with great pleasure, our choice fell on ELECTROSTEEL. I have known their group for a long time. In detail, the reasons that pushed me to choose them are the following: the complementarity of the products, which is important for furthering the development of both systems; a consolidated position of the group worldwide; and, last but not least, their management which, despite being a multinational, have maintained a family feeling, able to ensure safety and guarantees for its collaborators. This is an aspect that is not easy to find in European systems today. Thanks to ELECTROSTEEL’s commercial network, TIS strategically ensures further development on international markets.”
“We will retain the strong equity of the TIS brand and co-brand it as “T.i.S. – An Electrosteel Enterprise”. This will ensure continuity while reinforcing trust and scale through the Electrosteel association. TIS valves will now be made accessible through our well-established distribution network in India, Africa and Southeast Asia, addressing growing demand for high-performance flow control solutions. Customers will be able to access a broader product range from a single source – pipes, fittings and precision-engineered valves resulting in greater convenience, better compatibility, integrated after-sales support, improved delivery timelines and competitive pricing”, said Ms Nityangi Kejriwal Jaiswal, Whole-Time Director, Electrosteel Castings Limited.
“This was a strategic acquisition financed through internal accruals. We expect a meaningful increase in both top-line and bottom-line performance through increased volume of business, synergies, product cross-selling and international market access. The valve business will be margin-accretive in the medium term”, said Mr Ashutosh Agarwal, Whole-Time Director & CFO, Electrosteel Castings Limited.
Electrosteel’s manufacturing strength and TIS’s engineering know-how will together improve delivery reliability and production responsiveness. TIS’s efficient flow-control systems reduce water loss and energy consumption thus aligning with Electrosteel’s ESG focus on sustainability, resource conservation and responsible infrastructure.
A joint R&D and innovation framework is being established to focus on smart valve technologies, energy-efficient solutions and customized products for high-growth markets.
The acquisition positions Electrosteel as a comprehensive pipeline and flow-control solution provider across continents as the company now matches global leaders in scope, capability and offering.
