According to the statement, the state has entered a new phase of people-centric development aimed at improving the quality of life across all sections of society. The government noted that every policy initiative is being designed to ensure that the benefits of progress reach even the most marginalised and underserved communities.
The release highlighted that Odisha’s development approach is focused on creating equal opportunities and reducing regional disparities, with special emphasis on strengthening growth in the southern region of the state.
Officials stated that southern Odisha is increasingly emerging as an important contributor to the state’s overall economic and social progress. The government reiterated its goal of ensuring that every district becomes part of Odisha’s broader growth journey and gains access to development opportunities.
The administration further stressed that sustainable progress can only be achieved through balanced regional development, improved public services, and stronger social support systems that directly benefit ordinary citizens.
The government said its ongoing efforts are aimed at creating a development framework where economic growth is accompanied by social inclusion, better connectivity, accessible healthcare, quality education, and improved living standards for people across Odisha.
