A Taste Of Awadh Arrives At Shangri-la Eros New Delhi With Chef PIN

New Delhi, Apr 16:  Shangri-La Eros New Delhi invites guests to experience a special culinary showcase this April at its award-winning international cuisine restaurant, Tamra. From 16th to 18th April 2026, the hotel will serve a curated selection of Awadhi cuisine from Lucknow, in association with Chef Pin, channeled by home chef Mansi Seth Kapoor.

Awadhi cuisine, originating from the royal kitchens of Lucknow, is known for its slow-cooked preparations, delicate use of spices, and refined techniques. Developed under the patronage of the Nawabs of Awadh, the cuisine recalls a balance of richness and subtlety, with recipes that have been preserved and passed down over generations. This showcase brings these traditional flavours to Delhi, offering guests an opportunity to experience dishes that remain deeply rooted in heritage.

Mansi Seth Kapoor, known for her admiration for traditional cooking, prepares each dish herself, following methods that rely on time and precision. Her culinary journey has been shaped by her upbringing in a UP Khatri household, along with her exposure to diverse regional cuisines over the years. Her approach remains focused on maintaining authenticity while presenting dishes in their most traditional form.

At Tamra, she will present a selection of dishes from her repertoire, including Ghutwan kebabs, Goolar kebab, Boti kebab, and Mutton Goli pulao. The menu also features vegetarian preparations such as Dahi baingan, Rasajein, fried moong dal dumplings in gravy, and Dum ki Arbi, alongside desserts like Pyau Bade finished with saffron.

Over the three days, the showcase will be available as part of the lunch and dinner buffet at Tamra, offering guests a chance to explore the depth and variety of Awadhi cuisine in a single setting.

The lunch and dinner buffets are available per person, exclusive of applicable taxes.
