The bar at Novakan is led by Matteo Cadeddu, an internationally recognised mixologist whose work has been curated for a bar featured on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025.
Known as a pioneering voice in the Liquid Surreality movement, Matteo’s approach pushes cocktail craft beyond flavour alone into immersive sensory experiences where perception, texture, and storytelling shape every drink.
At Novakan, the bar is not simply where drinks are served.

Tulum Energy, Bangalore Skyline
The sonic identity of Novakan is curated by Alexia Garcia, one of Tulum’s most recognised selectors.
With residencies at Vagalume Tulum and Bonbonniere, performances alongside global names such as Hugo Cantarra and Nandu, and her recent production debut with “Keep On Running” on KMT Records, Alexia brings her signature sound to Bangalore.
Her style, described as “The Alexia Tribe”, blends organic house with ethnic-infused electronic rhythms designed to move seamlessly from sunset into night.
At Novakan, the music captures the spirit of a Tulum beach sunset, reimagined high above the Bangalore skyline.
A Kitchen Built Around the Evening
The culinary direction at Novakan is led by Chef Gurudut, whose experience includes training in Michelin-starred kitchens.
His philosophy aligns closely with the space itself: elegant, precise, and thoughtfully restrained.
