Bengaluru to Host South Asia International Peace Conference 2025 on March 22-23

Bengaluru, March 18, 2025: The South Asia International Peace Conference (SAIPC) 2025 organised by Rotary District 3192 will be held in Bengaluru on March 22 and 23. The conference will address regional challenges, bringing together diverse stakeholders to foster peace and harmony in South Asia.

The SAIPC 2025 aims to unite leaders, communities, and innovators across South Asia in a dedicated pursuit of peace and harmony through dialogue, collaboration, and innovative solutions.

The conference will foster dialogue, collaboration, and actionable solutions and policy making in three critical areas of peace-building, environment, healthcare, preventive healthcare public health, sustainable livelihoods, access to education, addressing hunger and malnutrition, encouraging community volunteering

The conference will have inclusive participation from diverse stakeholders that includes policymakers, academicians, students and civil society.

Three-time Grammy Award-winning composer and environmentalist Ricky Kej will serve as the brand ambassador, embodying the mission of sustainability and harmony.

The conference will celebrate South Asia’s diverse heritage with traditional dances from Bhutan, India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, showcasing the region’s vibrant tapestry of unity and culture.

The chief guests on the occasion include Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot, Union Minister for Heavy Industries H D Kumaraswamy, Forest Minister Eshwara Khandre, Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao, Social Welfare Minister H C Mahadevappa, Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji, Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math and Sri Sri Ravishankar of Art of living

Over 4,000 delegates are expected who will engage in panel discussions, workshops, cultural programs, and exhibitions. The participation includes ministries from Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, over a 100 NGOs among others.
