May 09: Bombae by Bombay Shaving Company has announced the launch of Hairplay Pro, a high-performance, hairstyling system designed to deliver professional results at home without the time, effort, or heat damage traditionally associated with styling.
Hair styling is undergoing a shift. Consumers are moving away from juggling multiple tools and heat-heavy routines, toward faster, smarter systems that prioritize hair health without compromising on results. Hairplay Pro is built for this new reality marking the evolution of Bombae as brand with a nuanced understanding of body hair, then head hair and now complete hair expression.
Powered by a 110,000 RPM high speed BLDC motor, Hairplay Pro delivers ultra-fast drying using high-velocity airflow instead of extreme heat. The system combines temperature-controlled styling, ionic technology, and a hot-cold airflow cycle, enabling users to style while actively protecting hair health.
“We started Bombae by understanding the deep relationship of women with body hair. Today, we’re going further understanding what her hair goes through every day,” said Siddha Jain, Co-Founder & Chief Business Officer, Bombae. “Indian hair is diverse, textured, and constantly exposed to heat, humidity, and stress. With Hairplay Pro, we’re reimagining styling itself—moving from heat to air, from effort to ease, and from damage to control. This isn’t just another styling tool. It’s a new way to style.”
With Hairplay Pro, the brand is taking a more context-first approach, building specifically for the realities of Indian hair, which spans a wide spectrum of textures, densities, and styling needs. By combining high-speed motor technology with advanced airflow engineering and a versatile multi-attachment system, Hairplay Pro is designed to adapt seamlessly across hair types, from fine and straight to thick, wavy, or frizz-prone—delivering consistent performance without excessive heat reliance.
Beyond functionality, Hairplay Pro is designed as a lifestyle product. From ergonomics to its premium vanity case and elevated unboxing experience, the system reflects the growing role of beauty devices as both functional essentials and aspirational accessories.
