Cinépolis India launches its second cinema in Faridabad with a new multiplex at Amolik's City Life Mall

Faridabad, 01st October 2026: Cinépolis India, the country’s first international cinema exhibitor, today announced the launch of a four-screen cinema at Amolik’s City Life Mall in Sector 28, Faridabad. The opening doubles Cinépolis India‘s screens in Faridabad to eight, less than a year after its first cinema in the city opened at Pacific Mall.

The cinema has four screens and 549 seats, with recliner seating, Dolby sound and Cinépolis’ gourmet food and beverage menu. It opens two days before Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam: The Conclusion releases on 2nd October, at the start of the Gandhi Jayanti long weekend.

Over the past year, Cinépolis India has been bullish about its expansion in Delhi NCR with cinemas launched across, IREO Grand High Street in Gurugram and in Dwarka, and now operates 16 cinemas with 78 screens across Delhi NCR.

Speaking on the announcement, Mr. Devang Sampat, Managing Director, Cinépolis India, said: “For us, growth is really a catchment question. Sector 28, has settled residential neighbourhoods on every side, and Faridabad is a big city, so there’s room here for more than one Cinépolis. The choice of mall matters just as much. Amolik has built City Life as a place where families already come to eat and shop, and a good cinema gives them one more reason to spend the evening there. When a cinema runs well, the businesses around it do well too.”

Faridabad is Haryana’s most populous city. City Life is in Sector 28, a largely residential part of the city, and is developed by Amolik, whose residential and commercial projects across Faridabad include Amolik Heights and Amolik Residency.

Mr. Hitesh Choudhary, Director, City Life Mall said: “We built City Life Mall for the families who live around Sector 28, and a good cinema was always part of the plan. With Cinépolis here, people can shop, eat and watch a film in one evening without leaving the neighbourhood. Faridabad has changed a lot in the last ten years, and people here want good places to go out close to home. That’s what City Life Mall is for.”

Tickets at Cinépolis City Life start at ₹149, valid until 15th October 2026, and can be booked on the Cinépolis app and website.
