This year, Varun Berry, former CEO, managing director, and vice chairman of Britannia Industries, will chair the ET Shark Awards.
Berry joined Britannia from PepsiCo in 2013 as chief operating officer and was elevated to Managing Director in 2014. During his tenure of over 10 years, Berry steered Britannia through a disciplined strategy focused on widening market reach, sharpening cost controls, boosting internal production capacity, streamlining supply-chain operations, and ramping up innovation.
The industry veteran brings 40 years of experience with companies such as HUL and PepsiCo, both in India and overseas. He has a successful track record of leading startups, turnarounds, joint ventures, and high-growth businesses.
