Indian Bank Boosts Lending Across Retail, Agriculture and MSME Segments

Chennai, Aug 31: Indian Bank sanctioned credit aggregating to INR 1,020 crore across the RAM segments at a Mega Credit Camp organised in Visakhapatnam under the aegis of its Field General Manager’s Office, Hyderabad.

Of the total sanctions, the MSME segment accounted for ₹512 crore, followed by ₹351 crore in Retail and ₹157 crore in Agriculture, underscoring the Bank’s continued focus on supporting entrepreneurs, individuals and the agricultural community through timely and accessible credit to align with the objectives of VIKSIT BHARAT.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Binod Kumar, MD & CEO, Indian Bank, said,

Through focused credit campaigns and customer outreach initiatives, Indian Bank continues to reinforce its role as a trusted financial partner while contributing to the growth of retail customers, the agricultural ecosystem and the MSME sector.

The campaign witnessed participation from Field General Manager Shri Srirama Chandra Babu M. along with Zonal Heads of various zones and MCB heads under FGMO Hyderabad. The initiative brought together the Bank’s teams to strengthen customer outreach and facilitate access to credit across key economic segments.
