New Delhi, Nov 28: Shashank Vishen, a 93.15 percentile scorer in CAT 2024 chose the JIMS Rohini Delhi to pursue his management education, recognising the institute’s academic standing, strong faculty base, alumni network, and return on investment.
Raised in a disciplined defence household his father served as a Junior Warrant Officer in the Indian Air Force and currently works as an English lecturer. Shashank attributes his perseverance and focus to his upbringing. A Kendriya Vidyalaya alumnus, he completed his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from SRM University, followed by 3.5 years of professional experience as a web developer, along with a year of freelance work.
Reflecting on his CAT journey, Shashank shared that understanding the exam pattern based on the conducting IIM played a crucial role in his preparation, he said “Knowing which IIM is conducting the CAT really helps anticipate the difficulty level. Regular mock tests helped me restructure my strategy and build confidence for the exam day,” he said.
