Madhya Pradesh Proposes 11 Industrial Parks Under BHAVYA Scheme with Rs.8,144 Crore Investment

Bhopal, August 18: The Madhya Pradesh government has proposed 11 industrial parks covering more than 9,000 acres under the Centre’s Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojna (BHAVYA), with an estimated investment of ₹8,144.35 crore.

The proposals were presented by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav at the third meeting of the Apex Monitoring Authority of the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT) in New Delhi.

The proposed parks, spread across Ujjain, Dhar, Dewas-Shajapur, Ratlam, Sehore, Sagar, Guna, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Katni and Rewa, will feature plug-and-play infrastructure designed to make industrial sites investment-ready.

The Bhensola project in Dhar has been proposed as a textile park and will serve as an extension of the PM MITRA Park, while other parks are expected to support sectors including pharmaceuticals, automobiles, renewable energy equipment, semiconductors, IT and IT-enabled services.

Yadav said the state was working to expand modern industrial infrastructure and create an investor-friendly environment. The projects are expected to generate direct and indirect employment and strengthen Madhya Pradesh’s position as an industrial and investment hub.

The Centre’s BHAVYA scheme has an overall outlay of ₹33,660 crore for developing 100 plug-and-play industrial parks across India, with the objective of strengthening the manufacturing ecosystem and accelerating investment-led growth.
