Bengaluru, Sep 11: POCO India today announced that the newly launched POCO X8 and POCO X8 Power will go on sale in India starting 11th September 2026 at 12 noon, exclusively on Flipkart. Built for users who demand more from their smartphones, the X8 Series combines powerful performance, immersive displays, versatile cameras, large-capacity Silicon-Carbon batteries and robust durability.
The POCO X8 is powered by the Snapdragon® 6s Gen 4 Mobile Platform, built on a 4nm process with CPU speeds of up to 2.4GHz, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The POCO X8 Power marks the India debut of the Snapdragon® 6 Gen 5 Mobile Platform, delivering CPU speeds of up to 2.6GHz and paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, with configurations of up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Both smartphones feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 12-bit colour depth and up to 3500 nits peak brightness. The POCO X8 Power further enhances the viewing experience with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision® support. Stereo dual speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio are featured on both devices, with up to 300% volume boost on the X8 and 400% on the X8 Power.
Designed for users who spend long hours away from a charger, the POCO X8 packs a 9000mAh Silicon-Carbon battery with 67W Xiaomi HyperCharge, supported by the Xiaomi Surge G1 Battery Management Chip. It also supports 22.5W wired reverse charging and comes with a 67W charger in the box.
The POCO X8 Power takes endurance further with a 10,000mAh Silicon-Carbon battery, 100W Xiaomi HyperCharge and 27W wired reverse charging, with a 100W charger included in the box.
The POCO X8 features a 50MP main camera with OIS, f/1.8 aperture and a 5P lens, alongside a 2MP depth camera and a 16MP front camera. Users can explore features including Portrait Mode, HDR, Live Moments, Ultra HD Mode, Pro Mode and Dual Video.
The POCO X8 Power features a 50MP OIS main camera with a wider f/1.5 aperture and 6P lens, complemented by an 8MP ultrawide camera. It also offers Auto Scene Detection and 2X in-sensor ultra-clear zoom, while both its rear and 32MP front cameras support 4K video recording at 30fps.
