Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) [India], July 22: Print on demand has enabled entrepreneurs to launch clothing brands without holding inventory or committing to large production runs. As creator-led businesses and direct-to-consumer brands increasingly seek inventory-light fulfilment and branding solutions, the sector continues to evolve with growing demand for manufacturing and white-label services.
Qikink, an India-based print on demand and manufacturing platform used by more than 25,000 Indian brands, has expanded its product catalogue and added new white-label branding services, the company said.
Manufacturing Capabilities
Unlike platforms that route production through third-party vendors, Qikink manufactures its apparel in-house, handling yarn processing, knitting, dyeing, stitching and finishing at a 50,000 sq. ft. facility in Coimbatore. The company said its catalogue now spans more than 350 customisable products and over 2,750 SKUs across apparel, accessories and home goods.
The expanded range covers fabric weights from 180 GSM to 260 GSM, spanning lighter cotton blends suited to high-volume orders through to heavier premium finishes aimed at established apparel brands a spread the company said allows it to serve sellers across different stages of growth. More than 10 printing methods are available, including DTG, DTF, sublimation, embroidery and specialty finishes such as puff and UV printing, with no minimum order quantity.
Branding and Fulfilment
The company also offers white-label branding services, including custom neck labels, hang tags and packaging, with orders shipped under the seller’s own brand rather than Qikink’s. According to the company, this allows sellers to build an independent brand identity without operating their own manufacturing or packaging infrastructure.
Scale
Qikink has shipped more than 5 million orders since launch and delivers to more than 29,000 pincodes across India, the company said.
Sivaraman S, founder of Qikink, said the company was built to give sellers at every stage access to the same manufacturing standard.
“When we started, the goal was to remove the inventory barrier to launching a clothing brand. Whether it’s a first-time seller placing a small order or an established streetwear brand scaling up, we wanted both to get the same quality of manufacturing, just at the fabric weight and price point that suits their stage,” he said.
The company said it plans to scale manufacturing capacity and expand into additional product categories as demand for print-on-demand solutions continues to grow in India.
