Hyderabad, November 4, 2025: TiE U Regional Final winners announced at the just-concluded Hyderabad Entrepreneurship Summit (HES 2025).
TiE U is a 6-month program designed to fast-track collegiate entrepreneurs’ innovative ideas into Market-ready ventures.
The student entrepreneurs from across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh impressed the audience with their creativity and problem-solving skills at the Regional Finals of the TiE U Pitching Competition.
The winners were Smart Synergies, Vishnu Institute of Technology, Bhimavaram is the Winner

The team Mindrip from ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education was adjudged the best First Runner-up. The team comprises G. Rishi Krishna Goud and M. Preetham Rai.

Drugparadigm, KMIT, Hyderabad, stood as Second Runner-up. The team comprises Kavadi Varshith Reddy, Guttula Sai Lahari, Singam Suhas Reddy, and Bijjula Dharani.

The winning team, Smart Synergies, will represent TiE Hyderabad at the TiE Global Summit 2025, to be held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, from January 4–6, 2026, where they will compete with top student startups from around the world for the coveted TiE U Global Title.
Born at TiE Hyderabad in 2016, the TiE U initiative has grown into a global platform for student innovation, inspiring campus entrepreneurs across continents.
Prof. (Dr.) Sri Ram Venkatesh, Secretary, Telangana State Council of Higher Education, graced the event as the Chief Guest and lauded the initiative. He expressed keen interest in expanding the program across all colleges under his department.
“Empowering students to think entrepreneurially is key to building India’s innovation-driven economy,” he said, appreciating the TiE Hyderabad leadership team for nurturing young founders.
The program was spearheaded by Dr Bhanu Prakash Reddy Varla (Chair), Raghu Babu Gunturu, Gaurav Mathur, Nandita Sethi, Sreenivas Tirdhala, and Sidhartha Mohanty (Co-Chairs), under the guidance of Rajesh Pagadala, President and Murali Kakarla, Vice President of TiE Hyderabad. Shanthala Veigas, Senior Director, and Goutam, Assistant Manager, coordinated the entire process.
A distinguished jury — Sunil Kumar Savaram, Dr Vijay Kumar Devarakonda, Mani Gorti, Dr. Siva Mahesh Tangutooru, and Saritha — evaluated the top ten finalists and announced the winners.
